Program Overview
The Round1 Creator Circle program is a community initiative operated by Round One Entertainment Inc. to engage social media creators for promotional events and activities.
Participation in the program is voluntary and does not establish any employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship with Round1.
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance or an invitation to any event or collaboration.
Round1 reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the program at any time without notice. Participation in the program is at the sole discretion of Round1 and may be revoked at any time.
Eligibility
Creator must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in Creator’s jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater, reside in the United States at the time of application and throughout participation in the Program, and must not have been an employee of the Company at any time during the two (2) years immediately preceding the date hereof. The Company reserves the right to approve or deny any Creator in its sole discretion.
Selection
Invitations to specific events or collaborations will be issued on a case-by-case basis based on program needs, location, and brand alignment.
Selection for one event does not guarantee future participation.
Round1 may modify or cancel any event, campaign, or collaboration without prior notice.
Compensation
The program is NOT A PAID PARTNERSHIP and DOES NOT include financial compensation of any kind. Participation is on an unpaid basis. Any complimentary access to events, products, services, or experiences provided through the program constitutes good and valuable consideration.
FTC Disclosure
Because participation in the program may include complimentary access to events, products, services, or experiences, a material connection exists between creators and Round1 even though the program is unpaid. Creators must clearly and conspicuously disclose this connection in every piece of content (for example, using #ad or #sponsored placed prominently and unavoidably). Disclosures may not be buried in links, bios, below a "more" button, or within a string of hashtags. All content must comply with the FTC's Endorsement Guides.
Content Guidelines
Creators are encouraged to share original content that reflects their genuine experiences with Round1. All content must reflect honest opinions, beliefs, and experiences.
All content must comply with platform community guidelines and remain family-friendly and brand-safe. Content must not contain hate speech, discrimination, harassment, explicit music or language, promotion of illegal activities, or false or misleading statements about Round1 or any third party.
Creators must also comply with the terms of use and policies of each platform on which content is published.
Round1 reserves the right to require removal or correction of any content that misrepresents the brand, fails to comply with the FTC Endorsement Guides, or otherwise violates these terms.
Use of Content
By participating in the Round1 Creator Circle program, creators grant Round1 and its affiliates a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works of, and otherwise exploit submitted or tagged content, in whole or in part, across all formats and media for Round1's advertising, marketing, promotional, and other business purposes (including social media, website, and digital advertising).
Creators retain ownership of their original content, subject to the license above.
Name, Image & Likeness
By participating, creators grant Round1 and its affiliates the right to use their name, image, likeness, voice, persona, and social media handle in connection with the program, content, and the promotion of Round1's brands, products, services, events, and experiences.
Code of Conduct
Participants must behave respectfully toward staff, guests, and other creators during events.
Round1 reserves the right to remove or ban any participant who exhibits inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive behavior, or whose conduct brings Round1 into disrepute.
Communications
By applying, participants consent to receive communications from Round1 regarding creator opportunities and events.
Limitation of Liability
Round1 is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the program or attendance at events, except to the extent caused by Round1's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Participants voluntarily assume all inherent risks of participation, including risk of personal injury, illness, and property loss or damage.
Participants agree to release and hold harmless Round1, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims related to participation.
